GenFusion ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, and safeguards your information. By using GenFusion, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Introduction

GenFusion ("App", "we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the GenFusion mobile application.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile photo (from Google Sign-In, if provided)
• Date of birth (for age verification only)
• User Identifiers: We assign a unique User ID (UID) to your account to manage your preferences and subscription status

B. Location Data

GenFusion does not collect precise location data or GPS information.

We collect your approximate location including Country and Country Code based on your IP address.

Purpose: To display the correct currency (e.g., USD, INR, EUR), ensure compliance with regional content laws, and for regional analytics.

Note: We do NOT collect precise GPS location data.

C. User-Generated Content

We collect content you choose to provide, such as:

• Text Prompts: The text descriptions you enter to generate images
• Uploaded Images: Images you upload for "Image-to-Image" generation features
• Generated Images: The images created by the AI based on your inputs

Storage: These are stored securely in Google Firebase Storage and linked to your account history.

D. Financial Information

We collect and store:

• Purchase History: Records of your subscription plans and credit packs purchased through Google Play Billing

Payment Details: We do NOT collect or store your credit card numbers. All transactions are processed securely by Google Play.

E. Device and Usage Information

We may automatically collect:

• Device Information: Device model, OS version
• Device IDs: Firebase Installation IDs and other device identifiers for analytics and fraud prevention
• App Usage Data: Screens visited, features used
• Crash Logs and Performance Diagnostics: We use tools like Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic data to improve app stability
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected information to:

• Service Delivery: To generate images using AI models (Google Gemini), manage your credit balance, and store your generation history
• Provide and Operate the App: Process subscriptions and purchases
• Account Management: To authenticate you and sync your data across devices
• Communication: To send you service updates or respond to your support requests
• Improve Performance and User Experience: Detect crashes, bugs, and abuse
• Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect suspicious activity and ensure fair usage of our AI resources (using Firebase App Check), and prevent fraud
• Compliance: To enforce our Content Policy and ensure no prohibited content is generated

4. AI-Generated Content

GenFusion uses artificial intelligence to generate images based on user inputs.

AI Models Used

Our application generates images using the Google Gemini API (specifically Gemini 1.5 Pro/Flash Vision models). We do not develop our own proprietary foundational models but rely on Google's enterprise-grade AI infrastructure.

Your prompts are sent to Google's AI models for processing. Note: Google states that data sent to the Gemini API is not used to train their models when using the paid enterprise tier (which this app utilizes).

Content Moderation and Safety

To ensure a safe environment and prevent the generation of Restricted Content (including but not limited to sexually explicit content, hate speech, and violence), we employ the following measures:

• Google Safety Filters: We utilize the built-in safety settings of the Gemini API set to strict filtering levels to block harmful prompts and outputs at the source
• Keyword Blocking: We maintain a server-side "Blocklist" of prohibited keywords. Prompts containing these keywords are rejected before they reach the AI model
• User Reporting: Users can report offensive or inappropriate content generated by the AI. We review these reports to update our blocklists and safety measures
• AI content is moderated and filtered

Important notes:

• Generated content is created automatically by AI systems
• Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be accurate
• We strictly prohibit generation of NSFW, sexually explicit, illegal, or abusive content

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the prompts they enter. By using GenFusion, users agree not to attempt to bypass safety filters or generate content that violates our Terms of Service. Repeated violations will result in account termination.

No Infringement Intent

The AI is trained on vast datasets. While unlikely, if a generated image inadvertently resembles existing copyrighted work, it is unintentional. Users should respect intellectual property rights when using generated content.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers essential for app functionality:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database (Firestore), cloud storage, analytics, and crashlytics. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Gemini API: For processing your prompts and generating images
• Google Play Services: For processing subscriptions and payments (Google Play Billing)

All third parties are required to protect your data.

6. Advertising

GenFusion does not display third-party ads.

Some third-party SDKs (such as Firebase) may collect device identifiers for analytics and security purposes. We do not use advertising profiles for targeted ads.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

We retain your account data and generation history as long as your account is active. User-uploaded images and generated content may be stored temporarily to support app features and history.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

How to Delete: Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account or Profile > Danger Zone > Delete My Account within the app, then confirm by selecting Delete Permanently.

If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing us at tanoticoder@gmail.com. Please send the email from your registered Google account.

When you request account deletion:

• Your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted
• Your account record, personal information, and all associated data (including generation history and uploaded images) are permanently erased from our servers
• Deleted data cannot be restored
• We do not retain identifiable personal data after account deletion. Certain anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for legal, security, or operational purposes.

Certain non-personal, anonymized, or aggregated data (such as analytics data) may be retained for up to 90 days for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

GenFusion is intended for users 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. The App is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly allow users under 18 to access our services.

If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and use commercially acceptable means of protecting it, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure cloud storage access controls.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
